Exiting a vim editor

In my previous blog, I talked about how to open or create a file in the terminal using the vim editor. Today, I am going to explain on how to exit a vim editor.

Exiting a vim editor Involves three steps-

  1. Press the Escape Key
  2. Type :wqScreen Shot 2018-02-12 at 9.33.23 PM.png
  3. Hit Enter

Now you have successfully exited the vim editor 🙂
