The Global Address List also commonly known as GAL is basically an address book in Outlook. It is managed by the Exchange Administrator.
The Address list contains a list of users in the organization along with their email address telephone number etc. It provides a good way to lookup a person’s information.
In order to access the Global Address List, one would have to activate the Home tab and navigate to the Find Group.
