Many of us want to get reminded of certain things. And in order to do that we would put them in our calendar or set a reminder on our phone. But now there are better ways to do those things. If you are using the Outlook Web Client, and you feel that a certain mail is quite Important and it contains Information which you might need in a particular day, you could easily set a reminder for that. Let me tell you how?
How to Set Reminders
- First select a mail that you feel is Important. It may be related to an event which might happen next week or a conference or anything else for that matter.
- Then goto the Home Tab and search for the Respond Section, it should be the third one from the left.
- In the Respond Section, click on Meeting.
- It should open up a mail with the Start Time, End Time and Location. Fill in the required information and send it to your email address.
Now this Information is saved in your Outlook Calendars. You could also save it in Google calendars as well by sending that email to your gmail account. This would automatically create an event in your Google Calendar. Now how cool is that??
